Money-changing and Remittance Businesses (Exemption from Section 9B) Notification 2006

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 28(2) of the Money-changing and Remittance Businesses Act, the Monetary Authority of Singapore hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Money-changing and Remittance Businesses (Exemption from Section 9B) Notification 2006 and shall come into operation on 8th September 2006.

Exemption

2. The Authority hereby exempts any person who becomes a substantial shareholder of American Express International Inc. from section 9B of the Act.
