Children and Young Persons (Approved Schools and Approved Homes) Order 1999

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 62(1) of the Children and Young Persons Act, the Minister for Community Development hereby makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Children and Young Persons (Approved Schools and Approved Homes) Order 1999.

Approved schools and approved homes

2. The following approved schools and approved homes are hereby established for the purposes of the Act:

(a)	the Singapore Boys’ Home, 931 Jurong Road, with effect from 7th February 1999; and
(b)	the Toa Payoh Girls’ Home, 506 Lorong 1, Toa Payoh, with effect from 1st January 1994.

Related amendments

3.—(1) Item (1) under the heading “Approved homes” of the Approved Homes and Approved Schools Notification (N 4) is deleted.

(2) Item (1) under the heading “Approved schools” of the Approved Homes and Approved Schools Notification (N 4) is deleted.

(3) Notification No. S 47/99 is cancelled.
