Competition Act
(Chapter 50B)
Competition (Notification) (Amendment) Regulations 2008
In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 42, 49 and 56 of the Competition Act, the Minister for Trade and Industry hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Competition (Notification) (Amendment) Regulations 2008 and shall come into operation on 1st November 2008.
Amendment of regulation 17
2.  Regulation 17 of the Competition (Notification) Regulations 2007 (G.N. No. S 349/2007) is amended by inserting, immediately before the words “these Regulations” in paragraphs (1), (2), (4) and (6), the words “the Act (in connection with an application) or”.
Amendment of regulation 18
3.  Regulation 18 of the Competition (Notification) Regulations 2007 is amended by deleting the words “a regulation requires” in paragraphs (1) and (2) and substituting in each case the words “the Act (in connection with an application) or these Regulations require”.
