Customs (Liquors Licensing) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 1999
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 143(1) of the Customs Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Customs (Liquors Licensing) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 1999 and shall come into operation on 15th December 1999.
Amendment of regulation 12
2.  Regulation 12(4) of the Customs (Liquors Licensing) Regulations (Rg 3) (referred to in these Regulations as the principal Regulations) is amended by deleting the words “, or keep any licensed premises open for any purpose other than the sale of intoxicating liquor” in sub-paragraph (d).
Amendment of regulation 29
3.  Regulation 29 of the principal Regulations is amended by inserting, immediately after the words “Third Schedule” in the last line, the words “, unless it is to be used for any purpose other than the sale of intoxicating liquor”.
Deletion and substitution of regulation 31
4.  Regulation 31 of the principal Regulations is deleted and the following regulation substituted therefor:
Prohibition of sale or consumption of liquor
31.  No person shall, at any premises licensed to sell intoxicating liquor and during the hours as set out in the Third Schedule —
(a)sell or offer for sale any intoxicating liquor;
(b)keep open the premises for the sale of any intoxicating liquor; or
(c)allow any intoxicating liquor to be consumed on the premises.”.
