Interpretation
(Delegation of Powers — Ministry of
Education) Notification 2018
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36(1) of the Interpretation Act, the Minister for Education, with the approval of the President, makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification is the Interpretation (Delegation of Powers — Ministry of Education) Notification 2018.
Delegation of powers
2.  The Second Minister for Education is deputed to exercise the powers of the Minister under —
(a)sections 4 to 9, 15, 16 and 18 of the National Cadet Corps Act (Cap. 194); and
(b)sections 4 to 7, 9, 14 and 17 of the Home Team Corps Act 2017 (Act 32 of 2017),
with effect from and including 26 July 2018.
Cancellation
3.  The Interpretation (Delegation of Powers — Ministry of Education) Notification 2016 (G.N. No. S 99/2016) is cancelled.
