Education Endowment and Savings Schemes (Edusave Pupils Fund) (Amendment) Regulations 2008

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24(2)(k) of the Education Endowment and Savings Schemes Act, the Minister for Education hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Education Endowment and Savings Schemes (Edusave Pupils Fund) (Amendment) Regulations 2008.

(2) Regulation 3(a) and (e) shall be deemed to have come into operation on 23rd June 2008.

(3) Regulation 3(b) shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1st June 2008.

(4) Regulation 3(c) shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1st July 2008.

(5) Regulation 3(d) shall be deemed to have come into operation on 31st July 2008.

(6) Regulations 2 and 3(f) shall come into operation on 1st January 2009.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2(2) of the Education Endowment and Savings Schemes (Edusave Pupils Fund) Regulations 2007 (G.N. No. S 750/2007) is amended by deleting the words “16 years” in sub-paragraphs (a) and (b) and substituting in each case the words “21 years”.

Amendment of Schedule

3. The Schedule to the Education Endowment and Savings Schemes (Edusave Pupils Fund) Regulations 2007 is amended —

(a)

by deleting item (6) in Part II and substituting the following item:

“(6) Woodlands Gardens School”;

(b)

by deleting item (11) in Part II and substituting the following item:

“(11) Rainbow Centre — Yishun Park School”;

(c)

by deleting item (13) in Part II and substituting the following item:

“(13) Eden School”;

(d)

by deleting item (15) in Part II and substituting the following item:

“(15) Lighthouse School”;

(e)

by deleting item (20) in Part II and substituting the following item:

“(20) Fernvale Gardens School”; and

(f)

by deleting item (1) in Part III and substituting the following item:

“(1) Assumption Pathway School”.
