Customs (Offices and Stations) (Amendment) Regulations 1997

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 143(1)(d) of the Customs Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Customs (Offices and Stations) (Amendment) Regulations 1997 and shall come into operation on 2nd January 1998.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2 of the Customs (Offices and Stations) Regulations (Rg 7) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “and” at the end of item (23); and

(b)

by deleting the full-stop at the end of item (24) and substituting a semi-colon, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following item:

“(25) Tuas Branch Headquarters, Tuas Checkpoint.”.
