Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 29) Notification 2009
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 29) Notification 2009.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister hereby exempts Pasir Ris Community Club Senior Citizens’ Executive Committee from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “Pasir Ris Elias Active Mind Festival 2009 — Mahjong Games Competition” to be held on 28th November 2009 and 29th November 2009.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by Pasir Ris Community Club Senior Citizens’ Executive Committee with the conditions stated in the letter of approval dated 5th November 2009.
