Central Provident Fund (Medishield Scheme) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2001

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 57 of the Central Provident Fund Act, the Minister for Manpower hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Central Provident Fund (MediShield Scheme) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2001 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1st November 2001.

Amendment of regulation 10

2. Regulation 10(4) of the Central Provident Fund (MediShield Scheme) Regulations (Rg 20) is amended by deleting the words “or the Ang Mo Kio Community Hospital” in the 5th and 6th and in the 8th and penultimate lines and substituting in each case the words “, the Ang Mo Kio Community Hospital or St. Luke’s Hospital for the Elderly Ltd”.

Amendment of regulation 15

3. Regulation 15(5) of the Central Provident Fund (MediShield Scheme) Regulations is amended by deleting the words “or the Ang Mo Kio Community Hospital” in the 5th and 6th and in the 8th and penultimate lines and substituting in each case the words “, the Ang Mo Kio Community Hospital or St. Luke’s Hospital for the Elderly Ltd”.
