(Nominations and Nominee Accounts)
(Amendment) Regulations 2024
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 77(1) of the Central Provident Fund Act 1953, the Minister for Manpower, after consulting with the Central Provident Fund Board, makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Central Provident Fund (Nominations and Nominee Accounts) (Amendment) Regulations 2024 and come into operation on 1 July 2024.
Amendment of regulation 5
2.  In the Central Provident Fund (Nominations and Nominee Accounts) Regulations 2012 (G.N. No. S 41/2012), in regulation 5 —
(a)in paragraph (3), replace “his death” with “the Board has been notified of the person’s death”;
(b)in paragraph (5), after “relevant share”, insert “remaining after payments under paragraphs (3) and (4) (if any)”; and
(c)in paragraph (9), after “medisave share”, insert “remaining after payments under paragraphs (6) and (7) (if any)”.
