Women’s Charter
(Chapter 353)
Women’s Charter (Matrimonial Proceedings — Fees) (Amendment) Rules 2003
In exercise of the powers conferred on us by section 139(1) of the Women’s Charter, we, the Judges of the Supreme Court, hereby make the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules may be cited as the Women’s Charter (Matrimonial Proceedings — Fees) (Amendment) Rules 2003 and shall come into operation on 15th December 2003.
Deletion and substitution of rule 3
2.  Rule 3 of the Women’s Charter (Matrimonial Proceedings — Fees) Rules 2003 (G.N. No. S 193/2003) is deleted and the following rule substituted therefor:
“Fees in matrimonial proceedings
3.—(1)  The fees chargeable in respect of matrimonial proceedings under the Act shall be as specified in —
(a)the Schedule; and
(b)items 70B, 71, 71D to 71I and 79 of Appendix B of the Rules of Court (Cap. 322, R 5), in accordance with the District Court scale.
(2)  A reference to “A” in item 71D of Appendix B of the Rules of Court shall be read as a reference to the appropriate fee specified in the Schedule.”.
Deletion and substitution of Schedule
3.  The Schedule to the Women’s Charter (Matrimonial Proceedings — Fees) Rules 2003 is deleted and the following Schedule substituted therefor:
