Central Provident Fund (Specified Amount for Medisave Account) (Amendment) Order 2008

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 15(6D) of the Central Provident Fund Act, Mr Gan Kim Yong, Senior Minister of State, charged with the responsibility of the Minister for Manpower, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Central Provident Fund (Specified Amount for Medisave Account) (Amendment) Order 2008 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2009.

Amendment of paragraph 2

2. Paragraph 2 of the Central Provident Fund (Specified Amount for Medisave Account) Order (O 5) is amended by deleting “$14,000” and substituting “$18,000”.

Amendment of paragraph 3

3. Paragraph 3 of the Central Provident Fund (Specified Amount for Medisave Account) Order is amended by deleting “$7,000” and substituting “$9,000”.
