Central Provident Fund Act
(Chapter 36)
Central Provident Fund (Education Scheme) (Amendment) Regulations 1999
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 23 of the Central Provident Fund Act, the Minister for Manpower hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Central Provident Fund (Education Scheme) (Amendment) Regulations 1999 and shall come into operation on 15th December 1999.
Amendment of regulation 2
2.  Regulation 2 of the Central Provident Fund (Education Scheme) Regulations (Rg 18) is amended by deleting the definition of “course of study” and substituting the following definition:
“ “course of study” means a full-time course leading to a degree or diploma conferred by an approved tertiary institution;”.
