(Exemption) (No. 38)
Notification 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 38) Notification 2018.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts the society registered under the Societies Act (Cap. 311) known as The Japanese Association, Singapore (UEN S62SS0062K) (called in this Notification the organiser) from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)	the “2018 Charity Draw” promotion to be held from 13 September 2018 to 24 November 2018 (both dates inclusive); and
(b)	the draw to be held as part of that promotion at 120 Adam Road, Singapore 289899 at 1.15 p.m. on 24 November 2018.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
