Environmental Public Health Act
(Chapter 95)
Environmental Public Health (Swimming Pools) (Amendment) Regulations 2010
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 111 of the Environmental Public Health Act, the National Environment Agency, with the approval of the Minister for the Environment and Water Resources, hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Environmental Public Health (Swimming Pools) (Amendment) Regulations 2010 and shall come into operation on 1st December 2010.
Amendment of regulation 2
2.  Regulation 2 of the Environmental Public Health (Swimming Pools) Regulations (Rg 10) (referred to in these Regulations as the principal Regulations) is amended by deleting the definition of “licensee” and substituting the following definitions:
“ “licence” means a licence referred to in section 63 of the Act;
“licensee” means the holder of a valid licence;”.
Amendment of regulation 3
3.  Regulation 3 of the principal Regulations is amended —
(a)by deleting the words “under section 94 of the Act” in paragraph (1); and
(b)by deleting “$120” in paragraph (2) and substituting “$130”.
Miscellaneous amendments
4.  The principal Regulations are amended —
(a)by deleting the word “Commissioner” wherever it appears in the following provisions and substituting in each case the word “Director-General”:
Regulations 3(1), 4(a), 7(1) and (3), 11, 13(2), 14(1) and 15; and
(b)by deleting the word “Commissioner’s” in the regulation heading of regulation 11 and substituting the word “Director-General’s”.
