Women’s Charter (Garnishee Proceedings)
(Amendment) Rules 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 180(1) of the Women’s Charter, the Minister for Community Development hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Women’s Charter (Garnishee Proceedings) (Amendment) Rules 1998 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 16th November 1998.

Amendment of rule 5

2. Rule 5(3) of the Women’s Charter (Garnishee Proceedings) Rules (R 6) is amended by deleting the words “(other than the Post Office Savings Bank of Singapore)” in the fourth line.
