Strategic Goods (Control)
(Amendment) Regulations 2021

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 38 of the Strategic Goods (Control) Act, the Minister for Trade and Industry makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Strategic Goods (Control) (Amendment) Regulations 2021 and come into operation on 1 October 2021.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2(1) of the Strategic Goods (Control) Regulations (Rg 1) (called in these Regulations the principal Regulations) is amended by deleting the definition of “SG Order” and substituting the following definition:

“ “SG Order” means the Strategic Goods (Control) Order 2021 (G.N. No. S 564/2021).”.

Amendment of Fourth Schedule

3. Item 2 of the Fourth Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “and 63.” in paragraph (d) and substituting the words “, 63. and 65.”.

Amendment of Fifth Schedule

4. Item 2 of the Fifth Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “and 63.” in paragraph (d) and substituting the words “, 63. and 65.”.
