(CHAPTER 12)
Architects (Exemption from Experience
Requirements) Order 2017
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 15(3) of the Architects Act, the Minister for National Development, after consultation with the Board of Architects, makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order is the Architects (Exemption from Experience Requirements) Order 2017 and comes into operation on 6 October 2017.
Exemption
2.  Section 15(2) of the Act does not apply to a foreign architect who applies to be registered under section 15(1)(c) of the Act for the purpose of supplying, or offering to supply, architectural services in Singapore only —
(a)in connection with specific building works; and
(b)in collaboration with a registered architect who has in force a practising certificate.
