Intoxicating Substances (Discipline in Approved Centres) (Amendment) Regulations 1999

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 28 of the Intoxicating Substances Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Intoxicating Substances (Discipline in Approved Centres) (Amendment) Regulations 1999 and shall come into operation on 9th February 1999.

Miscellaneous amendments

2. The Intoxicating Substances (Discipline in Approved Centres) Regulations (Rg 2) are amended by inserting, immediately after the words “Director of Prisons”, the words “or the person appointed under section 18A(1)(b) of the Act” in the following regulations:

Regulations 2 (5th line of the definition of “visitor”), 9(2) and 10(1) and (2).
