Civil Defence Shelter Act 1997
Civil Defence Shelter (Exemption)
(Amendment) Order 2022
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 27 of the Civil Defence Shelter Act 1997, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.—(1)  This Order is the Civil Defence Shelter (Exemption) (Amendment) Order 2022 and, except for paragraph 3, comes into operation on 1 August 2022.
(2)  Paragraph 3 is deemed to have come into operation on 31 December 2021.
Amendment of paragraph 2
2.  In paragraph 2(2) of the Civil Defence Shelter (Exemption) Order 2021 (G.N. No. S 77/2021) (definition of “gross floor area”), replace “rule 2(1) of the Planning (Development Charges) Rules (Cap. 232, R 5)” with “rule 2 of the Planning (Development) Rules 2008 (G.N. No. S 113/2008)”.
Miscellaneous amendment
3.  In paragraph 2(2) of the Civil Defence Shelter (Exemption) Order 2021 (definition of “written permission”), replace “(Cap. 232)” with “1998”.
