(Exemption) (No. 40)
Notification 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 40) Notification 2018.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “Big Draw Series” promotion to be held from 21 September 2018 to 21 October 2018 (both dates inclusive);

(b)

the “APEX Big Draw” to be held as part of that promotion at the Paiza APEX Palace (Level 2) within the casino premises at Marina Bay Sands in 3 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on the following dates:

(i)	29 September 2018 and 30 September 2018;
(ii)	6 October 2018 and 7 October 2018;
(iii)	13 October 2018 and 14 October 2018;
(iv)	20 October 2018 and 21 October 2018; and

(c)

the “Ruby Big Draw” to be held as part of that promotion at the Ruby Room within the casino premises at Marina Bay Sands at 8.30 p.m. and 9.30 p.m. on the following dates:

(i)	29 September 2018 and 30 September 2018;
(ii)	6 October 2018 and 7 October 2018;
(iii)	13 October 2018 and 14 October 2018;
(iv)	20 October 2018 and 21 October 2018.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
