Early Childhood Development Centres
(Amendment) Regulations 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 51 of the Early Childhood Development Centres Act 2017, the Minister for Social and Family Development makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Early Childhood Development Centres (Amendment) Regulations 2023 and come into operation on 31 August 2023.

Amendment of regulation 30

2. In the Early Childhood Development Centres Regulations 2018 (G.N. No. S 890/2018), in regulation 30 —

(a)

in paragraph (5)(a), replace “healthcare licensee” with “healthcare service provider”; and

(b)

in paragraph (6), replace the definition of “healthcare licensee” with —

“ “healthcare service provider” means a person who holds a licence under the Healthcare Services Act 2020 to provide a licensable healthcare service;

“licensable healthcare service” has the meaning given by section 3(1) of the Healthcare Services Act 2020.”.
