Medical and Elderly Care Endowment
Schemes (Medifund Committees)
(Amendment No. 10) Order 2017

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 14 of the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes Act, the Minister for Health makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) This Order is the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Medifund Committees) (Amendment No. 10) Order 2017 and, except for paragraph 2, is deemed to have come into operation on 16 October 2017.

(2) Paragraph 2 comes into operation on 23 October 2017.

Amendment of Part 1 of Schedule

2. Item 38 of Part 1 of the Schedule to the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Medifund Committees) Order 2015 (G.N. No. S 361/2015) is amended by inserting, immediately after item (10) in the second column, the following item:

“(11) St. Andrew’s Senior Care (Tampines)”.

Amendment of Part 2 of Schedule

3. Item 4 of Part 2 of the Schedule to the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Medifund Committees) Order 2015 is amended by renumbering the existing item in the second column as item (1), and by inserting immediately thereafter the following item:

“(2) Woodlands Care Home”.
