Newspaper and Printing Presses (Exemption) (No. 2) (Amendment No. 2) Order 2005

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 44 (1)(b)(ii) of the Newspaper and Printing Presses Act, the Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Newspaper and Printing Presses (Exemption) (No. 2) (Amendment No. 2) Order 2005 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 20th June 2005.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Newspaper and Printing Presses (Exemption) (No. 2) Order 2004 (G.N. No. S 507/2004) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “@ The River” in the first column of item 1 and substituting the words “Splashes of Life @ The River”;

(b)

by deleting the word “NTUC” in the second column of item 69 and substituting the words “NTUC Media Co-operative Ltd”;

(c)

by deleting item 112; and

(d)

by inserting, immediately after item 113, the following items:
