Medicines (Licensing, Standard Provisions and Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 1999
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 74 of the Medicines Act, the Minister for Health hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Medicines (Licensing, Standard Provisions and Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 1999 and shall come into operation 1st January 2000.
New regulation 5
2.  The Medicines (Licensing, Standard Provisions and Fees) Regulations (Rg 6) are amended by inserting, immediately after regulation 4, the following regulation:
Offences
5.  A holder of a licence who contravenes or fails to comply with any standard provision applicable to his licence shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years or to both.”.
