Central Provident Fund (Exemption) Order 2008

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 69 of the Central Provident Fund Act, Mr Gan Kim Yong, Senior Minister of State, charged with the responsibility of the Minister for Manpower, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Central Provident Fund (Exemption) Order 2008 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2009.

Exemption

2. All matriculated or registered students of the Republic Polytechnic who are employed for training approved by the Republic Polytechnic are hereby exempted from the provisions of the Act.
