Central Provident Fund (Nominations)
(Amendment) Rules 2000

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 25 (1) and 77(2)(k) of the Central Provident Fund Act, the Central Provident Fund Board hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Central Provident Fund (Nominations) (Amendment) Rules 2000 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2001.

Amendment of rule 4

2. Rule 4 of the Central Provident Fund (Nominations) Rules (R 1) (referred to in these Rules as the principal Rules) is amended by deleting the words “or 2A” and substituting the words “, 2A or 3A”.

Amendment of rule 8

3. Rule 8 (1) of the principal Rules is amended by deleting the words “or 1B” and substituting the words “, 1B or 2B”.

Amendment of Schedule

4. The Schedule to the principal Rules is amended —

by inserting, immediately after Form 2A, the following Form:

by inserting, immediately after Form 1B, the following Form:
