Private Education
(Exemption) (Amendment)
Order 2021

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 68 of the Private Education Act, the Minister for Education makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Private Education (Exemption) (Amendment) Order 2021 and comes into operation on 10 August 2021.

Amendment of paragraph 4

2. Paragraph 4(1) of the Private Education (Exemption) Order 2013 (G.N. No. S 136/2013) (called in this Order the principal Order) is amended by deleting the words “and V” and substituting the words “, V and VI”.

Amendment of paragraph 5

3. Paragraph 5(1) of the principal Order is amended by deleting the words “and V” and substituting the words “, V and VI”.

Amendment of Schedule

4. The Schedule to the principal Order is amended —

(a)

by deleting items 3 and 4 of Part IV and substituting the following items:

“3.	International French School (Singapore).

4.	Sekolah Indonesia (Singapura).”;

(b)

by deleting items 2 and 9 of Part V; and

(c)

by inserting, immediately after Part V, the following Part:

“Part VI

1.	Academy of Medicine Singapore.

2.	College of Family Physicians Singapore.”.
