Deposit Insurance (Designation of Deposit Insurance Agency) Notification 2006

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 12 of the Deposit Insurance Act 2005, the Senior Minister hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Deposit Insurance (Designation of Deposit Insurance Agency) Notification 2006 and shall come into operation on 1st February 2006.

Designation of deposit insurance agency

2. For the purposes of section 12 of the Act, the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation Limited, a company incorporated in Singapore, shall be designated as the deposit insurance agency for the purposes of the Act.
