Prisons (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2004

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 84 of the Prisons Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Prisons (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2004 and shall come into operation on 4th October 2004.

Amendment of regulation 118

2. Regulation 118(1) of the Prisons Regulations (Rg 2) is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “one month” in sub-paragraph (a) and substituting the words “14 days”;
(b)	by deleting the words “one calendar month” in sub-paragraph (a) and substituting the words “14 days”; and
(c)	by deleting the words “one month or under” in sub-paragraph (b) and substituting the words “14 days or any period less than 14 days”. [G.N. Nos. S 408/2003; S7/2004]
