(Exemption) (No. 50)
Notification 2017

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 50) Notification 2017.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “Ace & Win” promotion to be held from 1 November 2017 to 1 January 2018 (both dates inclusive);

(b)

the “Instant Win Kiosk Game” to be held as part of that promotion within the premises of the casino at Resorts World Sentosa Singapore from 12.01 a.m. on 13 November 2017 to 11.59 p.m. on 31 December 2017;

(c)

the “Festive Draws” to be held as part of that promotion at the Casino Royale Bar^TM (Level B1) at Resorts World Sentosa Singapore at 10 p.m. on the following dates:

(i)	19 November 2017;
(ii)	23 November 2017;
(iii)	26 November 2017;
(iv)	3 December 2017;
(v)	10 December 2017;
(vi)	17 December 2017;
(vii)	24 December 2017;
(viii)	25 December 2017; and

(d)

the “Grand Draws” to be held as part of that promotion at the Casino Royale Bar^TM (Level B1) at Resorts World Sentosa Singapore at the following times and dates:

(i)	10 p.m. on 31 December 2017;
(ii)	1 a.m. on 1 January 2018.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
