| Citation and commencement |
| 1. These Regulations are the Building Control (Environmental Sustainability) (Amendment) Regulations 2021 and come into operation on 1 December 2021. |
| Amendment of regulation 3 |
| 2. Regulation 3(1) of the Building Control (Environmental Sustainability) Regulations 2008 (G.N. No. S 199/2008) is amended by deleting the words “2,000 square metres” in sub‑paragraphs (a), (b) and (c) and substituting in each case the words “5,000 square metres”. |
| Saving provision |
| 3. Regulation 3(1) of the Building Control (Environmental Sustainability) Regulations 2008 as in force immediately before 1 December 2021 continues to apply, as if regulation 2 had not been made, to building works in respect of which an application for planning permission is submitted to the competent authority under the Planning Act (Cap. 232) before that date. |
