(Mutawallis and Trustees)
(Amendment) Rules 2024

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 145(1) of the Administration of Muslim Law Act 1966, the President of Singapore makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Administration of Muslim Law (Mutawallis and Trustees) (Amendment) Rules 2024 and come into operation on 1 August 2024.

New rule 9

2. In the Administration of Muslim Law (Mutawallis and Trustees) Rules 2018 (G.N. No. S 638/2018), after rule 8, insert —

“Rules not applicable to Majlis wakaf

9. These Rules do not apply to any wakaf created by the Majlis under section 58(3A) of the Act.”.
