(Exemption) (No. 51)
Notification 2017

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 51) Notification 2017.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “Sands Rewards Lucky Draw” promotion to be held from 3 November 2017 to 10 December 2017 (both dates inclusive);

(b)

the draws to be held as part of that promotion at the Main Casino Floor (Level B2M) at Marina Bay Sands in 3 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on the following dates:

(i)	18 November 2017 and 19 November 2017;
(ii)	9 December 2017 and 10 December 2017; and

(c)

the “Joyful Draw” to be held as part of that promotion at the Main Casino Floor (Level B2M) at Marina Bay Sands at 10.30 p.m. on the following dates:

(i)	18 November 2017 and 19 November 2017;
(ii)	9 December 2017 and 10 December 2017.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
