Mental Health (Care and Treatment) Act 2008

Mental Health (Care and Treatment) Act (Commencement) Notification 2009
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 of the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) Act 2008, the Minister for Health hereby makes the following Notification:
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) Act (Commencement) Notification 2009.
2.  The Mental Health (Care and Treatment) Act 2008 shall, with the exception of the following provisions of the Second Schedule, come into operation on 1st March 2010:
(a)paragraph (i) of item 1(8)(a);
(b)item 1(8)(b); and
(c)item 1(41).
