(Amendment) Regulations 2020

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 36 and 411(1)(g) of the Companies Act, the Minister for Finance makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Companies (Model Constitutions) (Amendment) Regulations 2020 and come into operation on 28 January 2020.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. Regulation 76 of the First Schedule to the Companies (Model Constitutions) Regulations 2015 (G.N. No. S 833/2015) is amended by deleting sub‑paragraphs (vi), (vii) and (viii) of paragraph (d) and substituting the following sub‑paragraphs:

“(vi)	section 40 of the Monetary Authority of Singapore Act (Cap. 186);
(vii)	section 35 of the Payment Services Act 2019 (Act 2 of 2019);
(viii)	section 66 of the Payment Services Act 2019;”.

Amendment of Second Schedule

3. Regulation 35 of the Second Schedule to the Companies (Model Constitutions) Regulations 2015 is amended by deleting sub‑paragraphs (vi), (vii) and (viii) of paragraph (d) and substituting the following sub‑paragraphs:

“(vi)	section 40 of the Monetary Authority of Singapore Act (Cap. 186);
(vii)	section 35 of the Payment Services Act 2019 (Act 2 of 2019);
(viii)	section 66 of the Payment Services Act 2019;”.
