(Exemption) (No. 44)
Notification 2011
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 44) Notification 2011 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 27th May 2011.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister hereby exempts the Chong Pang Branch of the People’s Action Party from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “Connecting To The Website Neesoon.Org” event held from 27th May 2011 to 28th May 2011 and the draw on 29th May 2011 at Chong Pang Community Club.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by the Chong Pang Branch of the People’s Action Party with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
Cancellation
3.  The Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 17) Notification 2011 (G.N. No. S 266/2011) is cancelled.
