Wholesome Meat and Fish (Exemption) (Amendment) Notification 2001

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40 of the Wholesome Meat and Fish Act, the Director-General, Agri-food and Veterinary Services, hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Wholesome Meat and Fish (Exemption) (Amendment) Notification 2001 and shall come into operation on 20th December 2001.

Amendment of Second Schedule

2. The Second Schedule to the Wholesome Meat and Fish (Exemption) Notification (N 1, 2001 Ed.) is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “Argentina,”, “Finland, Japan,” and “, Uruguay” in the second column of item 1 (a);
(b)	by deleting the words “Argentina,” and “, United Kingdom, Uruguay” in the second column of item 1 (b);
(c)	by deleting the words “, United Kingdom” in the second column of item 1 (c);
(d)	by deleting the words “, live or frozen blood cockles” in the first column of item 3;
(e)	by deleting the words “items 3 to 6” in the third column of items 3, 4 and 5 and substituting in each case the words “items 3, 4 and 5”; and
(f)	by deleting item 6. [G.N. No.S 96/2001]
