(OCBC National Championships 2024 —
Individual Time Trial and Team Time Trial —
Exemption) Order 2024
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 142 of the Road Traffic Act 1961, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:
Citation and period in force
1.—(1)  This Order is the Road Traffic (OCBC National Championships 2024 — Individual Time Trial and Team Time Trial — Exemption) Order 2024.
(2)  This Order is in force —
(a)on 4 August 2024 starting 1 a.m. and ending 4 p.m.; and
(b)on 1 September 2024 starting 1 a.m. and ending 4 p.m.
Definitions
2.  In this Order —
“specified event” means any of the following events organised by the Singapore Cycling Federation (UEN S58SS0009A):
(a)the OCBC National Championships 2024 — Individual Time Trial on 4 August 2024;
(b)the OCBC National Championships 2024 — Team Time Trial on 1 September 2024;
“specified road” means the road delineated by the black‑coloured line in the map set out in the Schedule.
Exemption for riding bicycle
3.  Rules 5, 6, 7, 7A, 7B, 8, 10 and 11 of the Road Traffic (Bicycles, Three‑wheeled Pedal Cycles, Trishaws and Recumbent Devices — Road Conduct) Rules (R 3) do not apply to an individual who rides a bicycle on the specified road during and in connection with a specified event.
