Electricity Act
(Chapter 89A)
Electricity Act (Commencement) (No. 2) Notification 2002
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 1(2) of the Electricity Act, Mr Khaw Boon Wan, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Transport and Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts, charged with the responsibility of the Minister for Trade and Industry, hereby makes the following Notification:
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Electricity Act (Commencement) (No. 2) Notification 2002.
2.  The following provisions of the Electricity Act shall come into operation on 1st January 2003:
(a)Part III (with the exception of section 21 (2) and (3));
(b)Parts IV to VIII;
(c)sections 67 to 81;
(d)sections 83 to 88;
(e)sections 94 to 102; and
(f)section 105 (1) and (2).
