Electricity (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Regulations 2002

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 93 of the Electricity Act, the Energy Market Authority of Singapore, with the approval of Mr Khaw Boon Wan, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Transport and Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts, charged with the responsibility of the Minister for Trade and Industry, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Electricity (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Regulations 2002 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2003.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Electricity (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2002 (G.N. No. S 601/2002) is amended —

(a)

by deleting item 1 and substituting the following item:

“1. Sections 72(2), 79 (4) (in relation to subsection (1)), 82 (3), 83 (4), (5) and (7) and 84 of the Act.”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after item 2, the following item:

“3. Regulation 40(3) and (4) of the Electricity (Electrical Installations) Regulations 2002 (G.N. No. S 657/2002).”.
