Public Utilities (Licence to Use or Operate Electrical or Supply Installations) Regulations 1997
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 130 of the Public Utilities Act, the Public Utilities Board, with the approval of the Minister for Trade and Industry, hereby makes the following Regulations:
PART I
PRELIMINARY
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Public Utilities (Licence to Use or Operate Electrical or Supply Installations) Regulations 1997 and shall come into operation on 1st March 1997.
Definitions
2.  In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires —
“licence” means a licence to use, work or operate or permit to be used, worked or operated, or to supply to or for the use of any other person electricity from an electrical installation or a supply installation, as the case may be;
“licensee” means a person to whom a licence is granted under these Regulations.
