(Eggslut Advertising Campaign — Exemption)
Order 2021

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 142 of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:

Citation and period in force

1.—(1) This Order is the Road Traffic (Eggslut Advertising Campaign — Exemption) Order 2021.

(2) This Order is in force for the period starting at 11.30 p.m. on 1 September 2021 and ending at 11.30 p.m. on 31 October 2021.

Definitions

2. In this Order —

“Eggslut Advertising Campaign” means the event organised by Unicom Event Marketing International Pte. Ltd. (UEN 201628304Z) and held at the specified footway from 1 September 2021 to 31 October 2021 (both dates inclusive);

“food truck” means the vehicle bearing the vehicle registration number YN2933A;

“specified footway” means the part of the footway between Scotts Road and Scotts Square that is delineated by the black‑coloured line in the map set out in the Schedule.

Exemption

3. Rule 28(1) of the Road Traffic Rules (R 20) does not apply to the driving or parking of the food truck, for the purpose of the Eggslut Advertising Campaign, on the specified footway.
