Air Navigation (Amendment) Order 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Air Navigation Act, the Minister for Communications hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Air Navigation (Amendment) Order 1998 and shall come into operation on 20th February 1998.

Amendment of paragraph 40

2. The proviso to paragraph 40(2) of the Air Navigation Order (O 2) is amended by deleting sub-paragraph (f) and substituting the following sub-paragraph:

“(f)	the dropping of articles for such purpose as the chief executive officer may approve, subject to any condition that may be imposed on such approval.”.

Amendment of Twelfth Schedule

3. The Twelfth Schedule to the Air Navigation Order is amended —

(a)	by deleting the second paragraph of paragraph 1;
(b)	by deleting “$110” in paragraph 2(b) and substituting “$370”;
(c)	by deleting the words “paragraphs 10(4)(d)” in paragraph 7(1) and substituting the words “paragraphs 8(1), 10(4)(d),”; and
(d)	by deleting “$275” in the fifth line of paragraph 18 and substituting “$510”.
