(Safety Training Courses)
(Amendment) Order 2002
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 27A of the Factories Act, the Chief Inspector of Factories hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order may be cited as the Factories (Safety Training Courses) (Amendment) Order 2002 and shall come into operation on 1st June 2003.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  The Schedule to the Factories (Safety Training Courses) Order (O 12, 2002 Ed.) is amended by inserting, immediately after item (8), the following items:
“(9)Metalworking Industry Workers:
 any worker employed in manual labour to carry out work in a factory engaged in the manufacture of basic metals, fabricated metal products, machinery or equipment and electrical machinery and apparatus
 
Safety Orientation Course for Workers (Metalworking).
(10)Metalworking Industry Supervisors:
 any person who supervises any process or work carried out in a factory engaged in the manufacture of basic metals, fabricated metal products, machinery or equipment and electrical machinery and apparatus
 
Basic Industrial Safety and Health Course for Supervisors.”.
