Betting Act
(Chapter 21)
Betting (Exemption) Notification 2006
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 22 of the Betting Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Betting (Exemption) Notification 2006.
Exemption
2.—(1)  Singapore Pools (Private) Limited is hereby exempted from the provisions of the Act in respect of the promotion, organisation, administration or operation of any betting in connection with the PoolzConnect Golf Challenge to be held from 15th December 2006 to 17th December 2006 (both dates inclusive) and the draw on 22nd January 2007.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by Singapore Pools (Private) Limited with the conditions stated in the letter of approval dated 15th December 2006.
