Town Councils Act
(Chapter 329A)
Town Council of Ang Mo Kio (Conservancy and Service Charges) (Amendment) By-laws 2002
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24(1) of the Town Councils Act, the Town Council for the Town of Ang Mo Kio hereby makes the following By-laws:
Citation and commencement
1.  These By-laws may be cited as the Town Council of Ang Mo Kio (Conservancy and Service Charges) (Amendment) By-laws 2002 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2003.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  The Schedule to the Town Council of Ang Mo Kio (Conservancy and Service Charges) By-laws 2002 (G.N. No. S 134/2002) is amended —
(a)by deleting items 8 to 14 and substituting the following items:
8. Executive apartment or maisonette

10. Shop with living accomodation
 
$1.56 per square metre of the shop area subject to a minimum of $50.48 in addition to the following conservancy and service charges of equivalent room type:
(a) 1-room flat

(b) 2-room flat

(c) 3-room flat
 
$36.86.
(d) 4-room flat
 
$48.46.
 
 
 
11. Shop without living accommodation
 
$1.56 per square metre of the area of the shop subject to a minimum of $50.48
 
 
 
12. Kiosk or shoplet
 
$1.56 per square metre of the area of the premises subject to a minimum of $50.48
 
 
 
13. Stall —
 
 
(a) Cooked food stall
 
$131.26.
(b) Fruit, preserved and dried goods, fresh fish and seafood, meat or poultry stall
 
$65.12.
(c) Vegetables, bean curd and noodle, eggs, ground assorted spices or miscellaneous stall
 
$40.38.
(d) Piece and sundry stall
 
$78.25.
 
 
 
14. Other commercial property
 
$1.56 per square metre of the area of the premises subject to a minimum of $50.48.
(b)by deleting the words “items 1 to 7” in paragraphs (1) and (2) under the heading “Note” and substituting in each case the words “items 1 to 9”.
