Education Service Incentive Payment (Independent Schools) (Amendment) Notification 2003

In exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph (b) of the definition of “independent school” in section 2 of the Education Service Incentive Payment Act, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Senior Minister of State, charged with the responsibility of the Minister for Education, hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Education Service Incentive Payment (Independent Schools) (Amendment) Notification 2003 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2004.

Amendment of paragraph 2

2. Paragraph 2 of the Education Service Incentive Payment (Independent Schools) Notification (N 1, 2003 Ed.) is amended by deleting the full-stop at the end of sub-paragraph (f) and substituting a semi-colon, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following sub-paragraphs:

“(g)	Hwa Chong Junior College;
(h)	Singapore Sports School.”.
