Responsibility of Co-ordinating Minister for National Security, Prime Minister’s Office

It is hereby notified for general information that, pursuant to Article 30(1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the Prime Minister has directed that Mr Wong Kan Seng, Deputy Prime Minister, shall, with effect from 1st November 2010, be charged with the responsibility for the following matters:

(a)	national security issues involving or affecting more than one Ministry; and
(b)	Chairmanship of the Security Policy Review Committee,

and that he shall also be designated as Co-ordinating Minister for National Security, Prime Minister’s Office.

Citation

2. This Notification may be cited as the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Co-ordinating Minister for National Security, Prime Minister’s Office) Notification 2010.
