Medicines (Registration of Pharmacies) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2005
In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 36 (1) and 74 of the Medicines Act, the Minister for Health hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Medicines (Registration of Pharmacies) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2005 and shall come into operation on 1st November 2005.
Deletion and substitution of regulation 3
2.  Regulation 3 of the Medicines (Registration of Pharmacies) Regulations (Rg 4) (referred to in these Regulations as the principal Regulations) is deleted and the following regulation substituted therefor:
Application for registration
3.—(1)  An application for the registration of a pharmacy under section 37 of the Act shall be made in such form as the licensing authority may determine and shall be accompanied by the fee specified in the Schedule.
(2)  The licensing authority may, upon receiving an application under paragraph (1), grant a certificate of registration subject to such conditions as the licensing authority thinks fit.
(3)  An application to amend the certificate of registration shall be accompanied by the appropriate fee specified in the Schedule.”.
Amendment of regulation 7
3.  Regulation 7 (3) of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “$150 per year or part thereof up to a maximum of $450 for 3 years” and substituting the words “specified in the Schedule”.
New Schedule
4.  The principal Regulations are amended by inserting, immediately after regulation 10, the following Schedule:
